Even if it's not an immediate priority before or after you move in, it always seems to linger in the back of our minds until the day we are finally able to bring those dreams to life.

From day one, I pride myself on transparent and open communication with all of my clients to help avoid the stress and pile up of hidden costs later on. Lets be honest, everyone has a budget. From daily expenses to large renovations, nobody wants to spend outside of their means. That's a reality of life. My goal is to always go the Extra Mile for each of my clients, providing the best quality work for everyone's individual budget. From designing, budgeting, planning and executing, I work one-on-one with each of my clients to create their dream space. No need to worry about getting overlooked or lost in the mass of projects taken on by larger companies. By selectively minimizing the numbers of projects I have on the go at a single point in time, I am able to provide the same high quality work as larger companies while maintaining the personalized care and attention of a small business.

We spend hours soaking in the tub or standing in the shower to wash away the stress of the day. But then we open our eyes and cringe at the outdated decor of the space we go to to unwind. Instead of cringing, lets transform your bathroom into the relaxing oasis every stay at home mom, working professional and overly busy adult deserves.

You spend a great deal of time cooking up a storm in the kitchen. So why not enjoy your time in the kitchen instead of simply using it out of necessity?! Basements
Basements don't have to be dark and scary, or simply the place you go to do laundry. By transforming your basement you can create a secondary living space that can be used for a variety or things. Think about what you like and don't like about your existing space. What elements would you change, and which ones would you keep? You don't have to have all the details ironed out before hand, but a few of the key things that are important to consider are:

Congratulations, you have now made the first step towards your new space by getting in touch!
Upon making contact, I will ask to set up an in-person meeting for us to walk through your space together and discuss what you are hoping to have done. I will take measurements and create a rough sketch of the room for me to base the estimate off of. In this meeting we will review your goals for the space, the issues you would like to correct with the existing functionality, and a rough budget based on the amount of work involved as well as your design preferences.

Not sure you know what you want yet? Having trouble narrowing down your tastes/design preferences? For a separate fee, I offer design consultations done from the comfort of your own home, or by accompanying you as you shop, to help you select paint colours, tiles, faucets, light fixtures etc. I can also provide hand drawn 3D renderings of your new space based on our conversations to help you visualize your ideas and truly bring them to life. Design consultations are available before or during a renovation, as well as independent from a renovation all together.
ESTIMATE PRESENTATION

Now it's time to look at the numbers and discuss the logistics of the renovation.
Once I've had time to crunch the numbers, I will again request to meet at your home to present the estimate to you in person. During the estimate presentation we will review the price break down of the overall cost of the renovation; as well as walk through the various steps and stages that are involved in achieving the desired result. Any 3D renderings or floor plans requested before hand will be presented at this time. Minor changes can be requested, larger changes being subject to an additional fee.
THE CONTRACT
THE CONTRACT
After a scope of work has been agreed upon, a formal contract will be written up for you to sign along with the final estimate. A deposit will be required upon signing the contract in order to hold your place in the schedule and so that materials can be pre-ordered to ensure they are on site by the project's start date. The contract will then be followed up by a rough timeline for the project based on the agreed upon start date, along with a payment schedule for the remaining balance.

The big day has come and your renovation is now under way. It may seem like a stressful endeavor but I promise to be here every step of the way to take manage the many details so that you don't have to worry. I will keep you updated throughout the entire process, never leaving you in the dark regarding the status of you home. We will work together to implement the design elements of your choosing to bring to life your new space for you to enjoy for years to come!
FINAL WALK THROUGH
FINAL WALK THROUGH
Before giving you back your house we need to dot our I's and cross our T's.
On the final day of the renovation, a final walk through will be scheduled with myself and the home owners to review the finished project and take final photographs. The final walk through is meant to ensure that everything has been completed to your satisfaction, any concerns have been addressed and resolved, nothing has been overlooked, and that I am leaving you with a space that you are eager to start enjoying!
